Although this conference has been around since 2000, we at the NTA have just learned about it and we are very excited. The 2011 UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference (TLTC) takes place in Second Life virtual world. So get your teacher avatar ready to attend this free virtual conference.
The UNC TLTC emphasizes timely teacher topics, regardless of grade level or geographic location, from effective current practices to emerging technologies.
There will be presentations by faculty and staff from the UNC system and from K-12 educators from anywhere in North Carolina and beyond. A schedule of Second Life orientation sessions in the weeks prior to the event will be published on the conference website.
